Will it fit a US outlet?
Choose the US plug option and yes. The EU option is shaped for European sockets and will not fit a US outlet, so pick US unless you are shipping this abroad.
Does it stay on all night?
Only if you want it to. On Auto it lights when it senses movement nearby and fades out again on its own. There is also an always-on mode and an off switch.
How bright is it?
Five levels, from a faint glow you would barely notice to enough warm light to see the stairs. It is warm white rather than the blue-white of a phone screen.

The item was exactly as described. And yes, it does work. The light is warm white, which I like better than that led typical bluish white. it turns on slowly until maximum brightness when it detects movement and after no movement, turns off after some seconds. You can adjust the intensity of the brightness and choose between auto and on modes. So far, working good and I'm really happy with it.

Great working light! Reacts to movement, turns off after 1 minute. It has an option for white or warm light. I wish it had option to increase luminosity, but oh well. It has option to stay on or to automatically turn on and off (after 1 min) or to stay on.

Used this in my chicken cube because the birds can't get to their sleeping place in the darkness. Motion sensor is sensitive enough to be activated by my chickens. Lite is soft and pleasant.
